t’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.
This House of Grief:  The Story of a Murder Trial by Helen Garner is about three little boys who drowned after the car their father drove the car into a farm dam. The father came away virtually unscathed. Was he a doting father, as even his ex-wife claimed, and this a terrible accident? Or was this something more calculated? Helen Garner has been called the “Australian Joan Didion” to give you a hint at her writing style and the trial coverage is riveting and real.
I originally picked this title up from Net Galley but started reading it after it was recommended by the Head Butler at . Who is this Head Butler I speak of? Someone you should be following, too, if you like reviews of books, music, movies and some must have products that are sometimes obscure but usually spot-on. Jesse Kornbluth considers himself your cultural concierge. He is also the author of the novel Married Sex and a journalist as well as an original co-founder of The I  even use the eyebrow razor he recommends. I highly recommend his recommendations!
